For Clarity of Mind... Meditate

We sometimes are overpowered by circumstance that somehow we are sidetracked from the point of our main intention... sometimes when negative situations strikes us, we tend to panick that we end up worrying and not able to think right... solution? MEDITATION.

What is meditation?

Meditation is a way of healing a mind in distress, hurt ego. It quiets the mind, and deepen a state of understanding regardless of any negative situation.

according to Wikipedia:

Meditation describes a state of concentrated attention on some object of thought or awareness. It usually involves turning the attention inward to a single point of reference. Meditation is often recognized as a component of eastern religions, where it has been practiced for over 5,000 years. Different meditative disciplines encompass a wide range of spiritual and/or psychophysical practices which can emphasize development of either a high degree of mental concentration, or the apparent converse, mental quiescence.

The word meditation comes from the Latin meditatio, which originally indicated every type of physical or intellectual exercise, then later evolved into the more specific meaning "contemplation."

Eastern spiritual teachings, including meditation, have been adapted and increasingly practiced in Western culture.

Why do we have to meditate?

Meditation helps in having peace and clarity of mind and freedom from any resentment, prejudice, hate and negative thinking that are hindering us to focus on what really matters...

Not only does meditation plays a big help in quieting the mind, it also helps treat and prevent heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, strokes and other diseases as well a blood pressure in people with hypertension.

I'm actually starting to meditate these days... and believe me... it does help. :)
